The first permanent centre for contemporary art in Uzbekistan, the CCA is a cultural meeting point for the region and a community space for the city in the heart of historic Tashkent. The Centre is housed in a revitalized 1912 industrial building - originally a diesel station and tram depot - currently being reimagined by award-winning architecture firm Studio KO.

An invitation to explore clay with Shokhrukh Rakhimov, a seventh-generation ceramic artist. Exhibited in Hikmah, he explores the inner states of the human being through form, light, and colour, drawing on Central Asia’s spiritual heritage and contemplative traditions.
