The exhibition explores the seminal works of ninth-century Uzbek scientist and mathematician Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi and explores the impact of the scientist's work on today's technological acceleration, contemporary culture and Western innovation. The exhibition is curated by Space Caviar co-founder Joseph Grima with co-curators Sheida Ghomashchi and Camilo Oliveira.

The exhibition is not related to any specific field, but as a whole pays homage to the scientist and his history. Through the participation of international conceptual and visual artists that span craft, performance, film, music, architecture, design, technology and critical theory, the works presented in Dixit Algorizmi are thematically linked to three different concepts, each offering a fresh perspective on the exhibition's thesis:

The first theme explores the portrait and perceptions of al-Khwarizmi today, without reliable historical and biographical information. The final works are a series of commissioned collaborations between international artists and Uzbek artisans.

 The second theme relates to al-Khwarizmi's ideas that have changed our ability to interact with our environment and each other. Individual artists and thinkers whose work is driven by a desire to explore the impact of innovation on contemporary life have been invited to present their individual works and visions on the main theme of the exhibition.

 The third theme is a series of reimagining of our understanding of algorithms. The exhibition will feature text and diagrams in poster form from international artists, writers and scientists whose work explores the relationship between everyday life and the history of science and technology.
